Duomed is appointing Reinier van der List as Executive Chairman of the Board, Frederic Hoffmann as Chief Executive Officer, effective November 1st 2023.
Starting November 1st 2023, Duomed is appointing Reinier van der List as Executive Chairman of the Board, and Frederic Hoffmann as Chief Executive Officer of Duomed.
Reinier van der List became CEO of Duomed in 2017, after G Square acquired the company. Under his leadership, Duomed successfully engaged into an accelerated international expansion, tripling top-line revenues and growing to over 600 employees in less than six years. Prior to that, Reinier was the Founder and Managing Director of FMH Medical B.V., a Dutch distributor specialized in Endoscopy solutions, which was acquired by Duomed in 2010. As Executive Chairman, Reinier will continue to lead Duomed’s strategic development, leveraging on his strong experience and network in European MedTech distribution, and in Endoscopy in particular.
Frederic Hoffmann started as COO of Duomed in February 2023, taking responsibility for Belux and France businesses, as well as for all central operations: Supply Chain, Quality, IT and Marketing. Under his leadership, Duomed achieved robust growth, successful integration of three companies, and implementation of a new ERP system. Prior to that, Frederic built over twenty years of experience in the European MedTech sector, first as a consultant with McKinsey & Company, then as commercial executive at Baxter, where he held growing responsibilities over both country and regional businesses. As background, he holds an MSc in Electrical Engineering and an MBA from INSEAD. As CEO, Frederic will be able to draw on his strong strategic thinking, entrepreneurial drive and authentic leadership, to lead Duomed day-to-day operations and further deliver on its fast-growth and sustainable development track.
