The HAMILTON‑MR1 is a fully capable, compact ICU ventilator designed for continuous, safe use from the ICU to the MRI suite. With intelligent magnetic field monitoring (TeslaSpy), adaptive ventilation modes, robust battery life, and an intuitive graphical interface, it delivers consistent lung-protective care, without interruption or compromise.

MR‑Conditional ventilator
- Designed for use with 1.5 Tesla and 3.0 Tesla MRI scanners (up to 50 mT static magnetic field)
- TeslaSpy gauss meter continuously monitors magnetic field; triggers audible and visual alarms (including GUI and alarm lamp) when threshold is exceeded.
- Auto-lock brakes and safety bar on the trolley prevent accidental rolling toward the MRI scanner.
Seamless transport and imaging workflow
- Compact and lightweight: 6.8 kg without trolley, approx. 21 kg with trolley.
- Quick-release button allows for fast detachment and easy reattachment to the trolley.
- Enables uninterrupted ventilation from the ICU through transport to MRI – preventing lung derecruitment.
Full ICU-level ventilation
- Suitable for adult, pediatric, and (optionally) neonatal patients (Tidal volume range: 2–2000 ml).
- Offers volume-controlled, pressure-controlled, non-invasive, and high-flow ventilation modes – including ASV® (Adaptive Support Ventilation).
- Modes such as PCV+, SPONT, PSIMV+ support speaking valve usage with tracheostomy.
- Integrated pneumatic nebulizer, optional Aerogen synchronization.
- CPR mode with timer and customized alarm/trigger settings.
- Vent Status panel and Dynamic Lung panel provide a visual overview of lung mechanics and ventilator dependency.
- 8.4″ touchscreen (“Ventilation Cockpit”) with intuitive display of waveforms, trends, and loops.
- Customizable dynamic panels: Dynamic Lung, Vent Status, and ASV‑Graph.
- Stores up to 72 hours of trend data, including pressure-volume and flow-volume loops.
- Full alarm system with priority levels (high, medium, low) in compliance with IEC standards.
