TrachFlush — VAP prevention & tracheal secretion removal

1 Device — 2 Features

Cuff Control
TrachFlush™ continuously maintains the user-set cuff pressure and protects your patients from VAP and tracheal injuries.

Flush Control
TrachFlush™ removes secretions from below and above the cuff from mechanically ventilated patients with the push of a button.

Benefits
Cuff- en Flush control function

TrachFlush™ maintains and adjusts the actual cuff pressure on a breath-by-breath basis, ensuring continuously optimized and controlled cuff pressure that supports ventilation therapy and protects your patients from VAP and tracheal injuries. Additional functionality:

  • Fast deflation of the cuff for safe extubation.
  • Increased cuff pressure for a user-defined period to secure the airway and avoid aspirations, for example when changing patient positioning.

An easy and intuitive feature for tracheal secretion removal below and above the cuff. With the push of a button, TrachFlush™ deflates the cuff and uses the ventilator air pressure during an inspiratory cycle to “flush” the secretion from below and above the cuff up into the oral cavity. No need to perform manual tracheal suctioning.

Benefits of using TrachFlush™
  • Protect your patients from VAP: TrachFlush™ continuously maintains the user-set cuff pressure, potentially decreasing micro-aspirations and VAP.
  • Easy secretion removal: TrachFlush™ removes secretions below and above (subglottic) the cuff without the need for suctioning.
  • Reduce workload and cost: 1) No need to manually check and maintain cuff pressure. 2) Potential decrease of micro-aspirations and VAP. 3) Remove secretions with the push of a button.
  • Improve patient comfort: 1) No "vacuum cleaner" in the airways. 2) No negative air pressure like in cough-assist devices. 3) No post-suctioning instability.
  • TrachFlush™ can be used with any endotracheal tube and tracheostomy tube.
