Non-invasive core temperature monitoring - Temple Touch Pro™

Temple Touch Pro™

Non-invasive core temperature monitoring

We would like to introduce you to the Temple Touch Pro™ (TTP™): a solution for continuous and non-invasive monitoring of patients' core temperature.

The Temple Touch Pro™ is designed for use in a wide range of clinical settings and with diverse patient groups.

Description
About the Temple Touch Pro™

Temple Touch Pro™ is a system for continuously measuring the patient's core temperature without the use of invasive probes. The system uses a sensor placed on the skin at the level of the temporal artery that transmits temperature data in real time to a monitor.

Key features
  • Non-invasive measurement of core body temperature
  • Continuous real-time temperature monitoring
  • Suitable for various clinical settings and patient types
  • Use with both awake and anesthetized patients
Clinical deployment

Temple Touch Pro™ can be applied in various phases of the care process, including:

  • Pre-operative environment
  • Anesthesia Room
  • Operating Room
  • Post-anesthesia care (PACU)
  • Intensive care units
Technology

The system determines the core temperature based on measurements at the temporal artery.

The sensor measures heat flux at multiple points and sends this data to the monitor unit, which subsequently calculates the core temperature.

System structure

Temple Touch Pro™ consists of two components:

  • Sensor Unit (SU)
    • Disposable sensor
    • Is applied to the patient's skin
  • Monitor Connecting Unit (MCU)
    • Receives and transmits temperature data to a patient monitor
Comfort and safety
  • Sensor easy to apply
  • No interference with other equipment around the head
  • Avoids risks associated with invasive temperature measurements
Part of the Gentherm portfolio

Temple Touch Pro™ is part of Gentherm's broader portfolio of temperature management solutions, aimed at supporting patient care in various clinical settings.
