SafeSheath® II is a peel-away introduction system with an integrated hemostatic valve, designed for safe and controlled venous access during catheter and lead insertion. The system builds on a proven design that has been used worldwide for decades in cardiology and interventional procedures.
The combination of a tearable sheath and an advanced hemostatic valve reduces back bleeding and minimizes the risk of air embolism. Its ergonomic design and low insertion and withdrawal forces ensure optimal control during lead and catheter positioning.
The SafeSheath® II Long (23 cm) is specifically designed for situations requiring additional reach, such as access beyond the subclavian-SVC junction or for atypical venous access (e.g., axillary or femoral).
