SafeSheath® II – peel-away introducer system
SafeSheath® II is a peel-away introducer system with an integrated hemostatic valve, designed to provide safe and controlled venous access during the insertion of catheters and leads. The system is based on a proven design that has been used worldwide for decades in cardiology and interventional procedures.
The combination of a tear-away sheath and an advanced hemostatic valve helps limit blood loss and minimize the risk of air embolism. Its ergonomic design and low insertion and withdrawal forces ensure optimal control during lead and catheter positioning.
The SafeSheath® II Long (23 cm) is specifically designed for situations requiring extended reach, such as access beyond the subclavian–SVC junction or in cases of atypical venous access (e.g., axillary or femoral).
