SILICONE DRAINS
The drains are completely or ¾ perforated with rounded atraumatic holes.
The drains are connected to a secretion bag to collect secretion. Due to its structure, the drainage does not grow into the tissue and can be used for long-term drainage of post-operative wounds. Silicone drains are used for passive drainage of wounds.
Silicone round drainages are suitable for general surgery, silicone T-drainage and biliary drainage for biliary drainage.
The capillary drainage has a ribbed inner surface and is ideal for cases where active aspiration is contraindicated but adequate drainage is required.
- Particularly tissue-friendly
- Latex-free,
- Longer lying time,
- Radiopaque,
- Round-cut eyes,
- Maximum avoidance of infection due to large distance between wound area and collection vessel,
- Collection bag with non-return valve to prevent backflow.
