Super Pulsed TFL Laser for Urology – LEONARDO® Duster

LEONARDO® Duster is an advanced Thulium Fiber Laser (TFL) solution for urological applications such as lithotripsy and BPH treatments. Thanks to its 1940 nm wavelength, the system combines ultra-fine dusting, minimal retropulsion and high precision with compact portability and efficient energy delivery. The specially designed Duster fibers provide optimal flexibility, consistent energy output and excellent visibility during procedures.

Faster stone fragmentation, reduced retropulsion and ultra-fine dusting powered by Thulium Fiber Laser technol

Description
Description

LEONARDO® Duster was developed for modern minimally invasive urological procedures. The system uses Super Pulsed Thulium Fiber Laser technology with a wavelength of 1940 nm, ensuring high water absorption and precise tissue interaction. This enables efficient pulverization of urinary stones with minimal stone movement and reduced thermal impact.

Duster fibers are available in multiple diameters, including ultra-thin 150 µm fibers for maximum flexibility during flexible ureteroscopy procedures. Both single-use ScopeSafe fibers and reusable fibers are available. The system supports dusting, fragmentation and popcorning techniques and can also be used for BPH enucleation procedures such as ThuFLEP.
