Together with over 150 care organisations, we are committed to sharing knowledge and making the care sector more sustainable. Over the next three years, we will therefore initiate several actions to reduce our environmental impact. This Green Deal is an initiative of the Government of Flanders.

About the Green Deal
Five objectives have been formulated as part of this Green Deal:
- Making the healthcare sector more sustainable
- Promoting 'One Health' principle
- Setting up a learning network
- Increase knowledge of sustainable healthcare
- Develop a coherent and coordinated policy that facilitates sustainability in the healthcare sector
The Green Deal – Duurzame Zorg is structured around four themes for which specifics objectives are defined:
Theme 1: Nature & Health
Theme 2: Climate & Infrastructure
Theme 3: Materials & Waste
Theme 4: Medicines in water
Duomed will participate in the Materials & Waste steering group to share knowledge and turn ideas into actions.
The signing of this deal aligns nicely with our objectives and projects that have already launched.
